How does household sync work?
One person subscribes to EBTC Plus and creates a household in Settings → Household sync. That generates an invite code. Everyone else taps “Join household”, types the code, and from then on all phones share the same weekly plan and live grocery list — no accounts needed. Joining is free.
Does the app work offline?
Yes — everything is stored on your phone, so the grocery list works in a basement supermarket aisle. If you use household sync, changes made offline sync automatically when you’re back online.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions → EBTC Plus, or use “Manage subscription” inside the app’s Settings. Cancelling keeps Plus active until the end of the paid period.
Recipe import didn’t work on a site
We read the standard recipe data most sites publish. A few sites don’t include it (or block reading it) — you can still add the recipe by hand, and we’d love to hear which site failed so we can improve.
How do I delete my data?
Data lives on your device — deleting the app deletes it. If you used household sync and want the server copy removed, email us your invite code and we’ll delete the household’s data promptly.
Why does “Plan my week” repeat a recipe sometimes?
Shared dinners must suit everyone at your table. If your household’s diets and “won’t eats” narrow the pool far enough, we’ll repeat a compatible dinner rather than plan one somebody can’t eat.
